From an early age Anika was always intrigued by art, high fashion and all things beauty. By age 7 she started finding ways to create and become an entrepreneur. It was at the tender age of 11 that creativity and beauty became a marriage when Anika started braiding hair and being requested to do makeup for friends and clients. That was when she knew one-day she would build her Empire in the beauty industry. It wasn't about the money; it was about making people look and feel beautiful, that gift is priceless. With a lot of practice, dedication and perseverance, Anika received her Cosmetology license in 2010. After 5 years of doing hair and working in salons that offered no room for growth, she left the chair and finally took on her first passion which was skincare. In 2019, Anika had a dream about opening her own waxing and skincare salon, and that's where Ooche Lala was born. Unexpectedly, 2020 hit hard with a global pandemic, and for a moment the world seemed to come to a halt as businesses shut their doors and closed down. That didn't stop her dreams, it was an opportunity to service women and men from the comfort of their homes or special destination who needed to look and feel a sense of normalcy in crazy unexpected times.  With the proper ppe, passion, a lot of faith, prayers and positive manifestations; Ooche Lala "Mobile Wax" emerged.
